Ducks in a row…

Ducks in a row…

Just a quick one for you this morning.

I should set the scene.  It’s about 6:40 AM as I write this.  I’m 47 and I spent my 20’s and 30’s (like many men) abusing my back in various activities (moving heavy furniture, sports, work, etc…)

…so that now as I try to get back in shape in my 40’s I feel back pain sometimes.  I’m feeling it now.  Even slept on the floor last night, because sometimes that helps.

Life is different in your 40’s and beyond, right?  Anyway, all that being said…

I’m still pretty excited as I type this to you this morning.  Why?

Because I am beginning fulfillment on all those print books I sold last week.  Yes, I’m early.

I estimated fulfillment would start on or around the 15th of this month but…

…all my ducks are in a row, all the orders are set to go out, and there is no reason to wait.

So those are starting to go out today.

***If you ordered a copy of Thirteen Obstacles from me, be sure to check your purchasing email later today for tracking info and all that good stuff.***

If you didn’t, then don’t pester me about it because it was a limited edition. I might bring it back at the end of the year, but it won’t be a first edition. Some things are right place, right time.

You know how it is. It’s like the first time you met the love of your life, or your best friend. Or that moment you saw the digital sun set in your favorite video game.

Yeah you get it.

As I write this email to you, I’m listening to Hard Rock Bottom.  It’s a record from a punk rock band called No Use For A Name.  It came out in 2002.  It was their 6th effort and in many ways it’s a sad record.

47 is a weird age.  You spend half your time thinking about the past, and half your time thinking about the future.  At least that has been my experience.

I had no true reason to bold that. But it seemed about right.

Anyways, the point?

My point is no matter where you are in life out there.  High place, or low place.  Don’t give up.  Keep your head up and your heart strong.  Keep rocking.

Sometimes it’s just like a roller coaster.  Ups and downs, but there will be ups again.

If you want to be successful online, work on building your email list.  Work on learning how to talk to them, like you would a friend.  Start understanding the deeper nuances of what value is.

Think about what value is in your life.  Is it 10 steps to start your new blog…

…maybe.  But most times not, right?  Most times the value is a joke from a friend, or a beautiful poem on a sad day, or a smile from your loving wife, or…

…well you get it.

Real value is different.   Think about it.

That’s all I got.  Have a fantastic day.

P.S.  Are you on Twitter (aka X?)  If so, give me a follow (@ZeroFatz) if you like.  I’m hanging out their lately.
