…well most of it. I started falling out at about 1am. Not because the movie was bad…the movie was amazing. But I have been pulling pretty long days since I started this launch cycle for Affiliate Rising.
Anyways…like I said, this movie was scary awesome. The scene with the Grizzly Bear attacking Hugh Glass (the main character) was absolutely painful and fantastic at the same time to watch. It was extremely realistic to me, even down to the bear breathing hot air on the camera. I’m not even sure how they did that but it looked spectacular.
It occurred to me today that I could do a blog post on this whole movie. Maybe even anytime that something inspires or moves me on some level…I should be able to conjure up a blog post about it.
Do you agree?
As I write this it is about 8:23 am and I admit, I am feeling a bit jaded with the IM game as of late.
Hell, if you’re a person like me who is part of the internet marketing space and you check your email inbox like I do then I imagine you’re feeling a little like a goldfish trapped in a bowl. Or maybe worse, maybe you’re feeling like that scene in the Truman show where the same cars keep on circling the same street over and over again. They are all on a loop and you cannot escape the circus.
Maybe that’s you…
A couple weeks ago I had this special bonus that I was giving away as an extra incentive for people to buy something through my affiliate link. This is pretty standard for an affiliate marketer.
This is a guest submission by Phillip Lopez, the founder of Niches Be Crazy and the Youtubing 4 Idiots YouTube channel. I have known Phillip for a while now and have a great respect for his writing style, video creation, and awesome sense of humor. He is the guy who always knows the next helpful tool or trick to get you closer to where you want to be with your online success. Philip has been nice enough to take some time and write this article for Epic Conversions about finding the will to get things done, even when we would rather be doing something else. Fantastic article. -Kam (aka ZeroFatz)
Just kidding, let’s start this over shall we?
(Who the hell do you think you are anyways Phil?)
Anyhoo, what I meant to say was I used to be OBSESSED with classical guitar back in my high school days.
I must’ve practiced/played anywhere from 2-3 hours of classical guitar per day and this was on top of going to my local recreational center and playing about 2 hours of basketball PER DAY as well.
That’s about 5 hours all together holmes.
Find the thing that you love to do and then do it with every ounce of your being. Times will be tough, times are always getting tough. That hasn’t changed through the years and it’s not going to change.
Carry on with your vision.
Have the courage to say what you are because make no mistake, you are what you are and you will define your heart with your words.
Move in a way that inspires others and always give back. Inspiration is compounding.
With vision you win, and because you win, those that cannot win will hate you, doubt you…
…prove them wrong.
You are lost and wasted as a copy. I will tell you what no one else will. To make it here you must be an artist not a scientist.
Be grateful for every single goal you reach. Celebrate your victories; God knows I celebrate my victories. Fifteen years ago I would have been working in a factory. This life was not possible 15 years ago.
Have heroes. I say we are the culmination of our heroes and that builds inspiration and that builds motivation and that builds brilliance. True brilliance. Be a legend.
Don’t get hung up on what you have done. Celebrate it but leave it in the past. The past has a way of keeping you down.
Live for right now and just a few moves ahead. Long-term goals are a waste of your energy. Anything past a year is pure posturing and wishful thinking. Focus on what you REALLY want to happen NOW.
Take the time to engage with the people who believe in you and lift them up as well.
Make no mistake…everything is because of you.
Yeah, I said it. Nobody cares what you have to say on social media and they probably never will. That is bad news for you too if you are planning on branding yourself, being the talk of the town, and driving tons of traffic to your website…bad news indeed.
Why is it that you can write an AMAZING blog post and then share it to your facebook page only to find that it drops fairly rapidly into obscurity, for the most part, being ignored.
Well, I’m going to tell you why.
Will it fix your problem?
The numbers tell me that it won’t. The numbers tell me that you’re going to consume my article and go right on being hopeless.
I’d like to think not though. I’d like to think that everyone has a fighting chance. So let’s do it…
Alright I am going to get mean with you for a minute. I’m talking “10 reasons why you will FAIL at being successful online” mean.
You want to know if you can make this online thing happen? You want to know if it’s possible for you to be successful online in business? Sure you’ve seen other people have success with online business but what about you specifically? Do you have what it takes? I have 10 reasons why you won’t succeed in your quest to make money online.
If you’re smarter than the average bear then maybe you can use this negativity to win…
These 10 marketing lessons that I am getting ready to share with you…I either learned from or was severely reminded of by a video game.
I’ve been playing a lot of Street Fighter 4 this week. It’s been a little bit of a rediscovery for me because I remember being extremely passionate and good at Street Fighter 2 way back when I was around 17 or so.
I kind of thought of myself as sort of an expert on the game.
Now the difference between what I played when I was 17 and what I played this week is like the difference between my Dodge Caravan and a space ship.
