We live in a time where options are boundless but clarity is in short supply.
The truth is no one ever succeeded at anything by having the most options. By knowing the most ways to do something or having the most tools…
…You don’t need to be the smartest person in the room to succeed. You do need to be the most certain. The most clear.
Success in business and in life is earned through clarity of vision and purpose.
On social media, everyone has an opinion. I do, you do, your neighbor who judges you because you don’t cut your grass often enough does…
Most of these opinions inevitably smash into you as advice about what you should be doing, or how you should be approaching, or a cool idea you should try.
But the truth is the more options you take on, the more advice you take in, the more complex you make the palette you paint with…
…the more difficult you make it to maintain clarity of vision.
AM I saying stop learning? No. AM I saying stop buying tools? No.
What I am saying is above all other things we should value our clarity of vision.
Everything we buy or take on should move synergetically with that clarity of vision.
Every piece of advice we entertain should very closely honor our clarity of vision.
Personally I don’t entertain advice from anyone who I haven’t paid to give me advice (i.e. someone who has a vested interest in my success) or someone who is going to be directly affected by my success or failure (my wife and kids.)
That’s just me. You can do whatever you want.
But remember this, in the world of valuable assets, clarity of vision ranks up there in the most valuable category.
In fact, I would wager that the number one reason people fail in ALL of internet marketing is a lack of clarity in vision.
Remember that shit.
So figure out what the hell you are doing. Map it out specifically and covet that plan.
Go forth and conquer. That’s all I got!
