Turns out, Google Docs has a free dictation tool.
It’s pretty damn accurate too. I think it’s actually more accurate than the Dragon Natural Speaking software I paid like a 100 bucks for. Kind of funny because I thought that Dragon Natural speaking was going to be the answer to all my problems when I bought that thing.

About a year and a half ago I found myself looking for something that would help me write articles faster. I wanted something that could dictate what I said so that I could capture a kind of conversational tone and at the same time write a lot of content very quickly.
I thought…man if I could have something that would just write everything I say??? I could just crank out all kinds of content. Everything from ebooks to blog articles…
Like a lot of people, I ended with Dragon Natural Speaking software. It’s not the most accurate piece of software in the world and it’s a little expensive. IT has this feature to train it to understand your speaking voice better but still…I spent quite a bit of time editing.
Many people don’t realize that Google Docs has a really cool dictation feature. I wanted to do a quick video showing you guys how to use this free resource, and demonstrate how quickly you can put together content for social media, your blog, your youtube descriptions, and whatever else you can think of.

P.S. What kinds of things can you think of to use this valuable FREE resource for? I am going to use it for facebook posts and quick youtube descriptions. Also I think it could be pretty sweet to do articles where I give my take on interviews.
