Aren’t you sick of being hustled yet?

I’m just wondering if your sick of being hustled yet?

See that’s all I ever hear about when I connect with people on facebook.

They are sick of having to buy all these upsells, and they hate getting lost in these giant sales funnels…

Well…newsflash princess…

Those giant sales funnels account for over half those marketers revenue.

And the only way to get those marketers to stop upselling you and giving you garbage on the front end is by showing them that you can handle another way.

See I’ve been saying to everybody that my new product Affiliate Command 2017 is “customer-centric.”

But you know that’s really just a nice way of saying…

Picture this…

You’re an affiliate marketer.

Your job is no longer to go to work for someone else who knows how to make money.  Your job is now to make money yourself because you know how and your actually really good at it.

You made this transition quickly.  That’s how life is.  Your just sailing along with your crappy job one minute and seemingly overnight…things change…

You don’t do product creation.  You don’t build audiences on social media.  You don’t spend hours a day in front of your computer, and you don’t record a bunch of youtube videos (even though some of us like making youtube videos)…

You make $323 a day and all you do is direct people who really want to know how to make money online to an offer that shows them how to do just that.  You spend about 8 minutes setting it up…

…that should give you plenty of time to make it to your kid’s birthday party this year.

Sounds too good to be true right?

Listen…

9 months ago a product came out called 8 minute profits.  Some people laughed at it because it seemed impossible for people to see results in 8 minutes.  Let’s be honest…

I laughed at it.  Seemed like some over hyped nonsense.

Except that a funny thing happened with that product…

It went on to sell over 6500 copies and generate over a 100k in revenue.

Here we are 9 months later and it’s still selling.  In fact, I see it in the top 10 on the Warrior Plus network right now.

How is that possible?   I wondered that myself.  How were they keeping that product so relevant?

Well the guys who created it want to show you exactly how that is possible.

How they created a product 9 months ago that continues to not only generate sales but set in the top 10 on a network that produces dozens of products a day and thousands of transactions.

They created a sequel to show you exactly how they created a product and then kept it selling long after it should have been a distant memory in this place where things move so fast.

They want to show you how you can use this same method to sell your own products without recruiting tons of JV’s or how you can use it to promote affiliate offers.

I went through 8 Minute Profits 2 today and I am in the middle of a case study right now showing you my results with it.  I am recording everything.  I am going to give it to you as a bonus when you pick the course up through my link.

I’ll tell you more about my case study in the coming emails but for now, I just want you to know, this is really great stuff.

I have been through the course twice now and am doing a case study like I said so if you have any questions do not hesitate to ask me.

Go crush it!

My Local Auto Repair Shops Are Ridiculous!

I’ve been reading through Jim Macks book on Offline Consulting and I am pretty blown away.  When I search through Google Places in my area, I am finding auto repair shop after auto repair shop with no pictures, poor websites, no social media presence…

…it’s ridiculous.  These guys can be fixed so easily.  Jim’s talking about charging 47 to 97 bucks a month in his book to manage these auto repair shops social media presence and then outsourcing that.

I Believe You But My Recency Bias Thinks You’re A Washed Up Has Been!

If you sold something online there is a chance that you might have gotten lucky.

If you sold a lot of something online then I will congratulate you sir, it’s safe to say you’ve won a battle.

And if you consistently sell things online month after month and year after year then you understand about this war that rages.

You get that it is strategy and clever thinking, bravery and courage that serve you so well, keeping the lights on and the fridge full.

And perhaps if you have been in this war for a little while then you might know a thing or two about cognitive biases…because we all have them but only the very clever use them to their advantage.

I want to talk to you about one now.

The Recency Bias.

The Recency Bias is the tendency to think that trends and patterns we observe in the recent past will continue in the future.

Make no mistake it is a complete error in human reasoning…but that really doesn’t matter.

Here is what you should know.

In this world we have a tendency to think that whatever is happening now is either better or worse than what happened before.  Far more of us believe that what is happening now is better than what happened in the past.

I know.  Confusing right?

Let me explain with an example so that you can see what I’m talking about and why this matters.

Two brothers.  Both carpenters.

One, let’s call him Mike, wants to write a book that is an all encompassing bible on how to build every kind of deck known to man.

He does, and the book is amazing.  It is a fantastic reference and considered a “go to” resource for every DIY carpenter out there who wants to take a weekend and build a deck.

Good job Mike!

The other brother, let’s call him Hal, wants to start a blog and talk about decks.  He decides that every single week he will build a different kind of deck and write about it on his blog complete with pictures and videos.

Both brothers are master carpenters and at the time the Mike’s book was released he was considered the utmost authority on the subject.

As time goes by though, his book gets older and older.  IN the meantime his brother Hal keeps consistently publishing a new deck build every single week on his blog.  He is dripping the content out to his readers, allowing them to share in the adventures with him.

Hal is becoming more of an authority on deck building in the eyes of the deck building community.

Why?

Recency bias.

So what is the point?

The point is that if you have a strategy in place for consistent publishing you can take advantage of our inherent “Recency bias” and win.

How do you do that?

There are a lot of ways you can do it.  You can regularly publish new products in your market.  You can frequently post helpful, interesting content on facebook.  You can publish youtube videos regularly or send out an interesting email once a day to your email list…

There are many ways to take advantage of this bias.  What I listed above are just some of the things that I have done personally.

I can tell you that publishing consistently is the easiest way to position yourself as an authority and “recency bias” is why.

There are hundreds of cognitive biases that affect the way we humans think, feel, and react.  Most of them can be used to sell more of your stuff and get people to care more about what you do.

But here’s a question for you:

Is using cognitive biases to your advantage exploitative?   Can you use this power for good and not evil?

Let me know in the comment section…

5 Ways to Never pick a niche and still crush it!

Did you know that according to The Freelancers Union 1 in 3 Americans are freelancers right now?

In fact Forbes says that many predict by 2020 50% of the United States will be working for themselves as freelancers in some capacity.

The old concept of 9 to 5 is dying.  It’s sad and scary.  Why?  The internet.  I don’t need to tell you that.  It’s as plain as the nose on your face.  We can all look around and see it.

Within 5 years I believe that most of you will either be like me and work for yourself online or you will work for someone else who does.

It’s a bold statement I know.  But when you know what I know and you see what I see…it doesn’t seem so crazy.

Listen, I think you should work on doing what I do…not working for someone else who learned how to do it.

What makes anyone else better than you?  You’re smart, capable, hard working…there is no reason you cannot succeed at this.

Now the first thing that usually hangs people up when they start trying to make money online is picking a niche to work out of.

Well what if you didn’t have to?

What if you just skipped that step.  What if you just talked about whatever you wanted?  And promoted whatever you wanted while doing it?

Maybe one day you talked about make money online stuff and the next day you talked about relationships…

How cool would that be to just talk about whatever you wanted and not be pigeon holed into any one niche?

Well you will be happy to know that it’s completely possible and people are doing it everyday right now.  It’s a well established model that I like to call “A to Z” because you have so much freedom with what you want to talk about and promote.

I want to give you 5 methods to doing this right here:

  1. Lists Method– This is where you basically put blog posts or youtube videos together that compile 5 or 10 things that have something in common.  An example?  “10 Roads you would Never want to Drive on,” “10 Highest Paying Jobs You Didn’t Know About,” “10 Hollywood Actors Who You Wouldn’t Believe Died.”

The beauty is the only thing those things have in common is that they are interesting and they are a list of 10.

  1. Daily Blogger or Vlogger– With this you just blog or vlog (if you do youtube) regularly and you talk about whatever is going on in your life, whatever you watched on TV, or whatever is on your mind period.

The only rule?  Just be interesting.

  1. Trending Story Teller– With this one all you need to do here is follow trending topics in the world and tell that story, also you want to have an opinion.

It’s not enough just to tell the story.  You’re not CNN.  People don’t follow facts as much as they follow opinions.  So have a take.

You are taking on the role of the reporter with an opinion here.
The fantastic thing about this is your content is written for you, all you have to do is report it and have an opinion on it.  It’s already trending.  People are already interested.

  1. Life Skill Based-The term ‘Life Skills’ refers to the skills you need to make the most out of life.

Life skills are usually associated with managing and living a better quality of life. They help us to accomplish our ambitions and live to our full potential.
Any skill that is useful in your life can be considered a life skill. Tying your shoe laces, swimming, driving a car and using a computer are, for most people, useful life skills.

With life skills based method you are focusing on a common denominator like “Motivation” or “Inspiration” or “overcoming adversity.”

So as long as you create content with that in mind you can move through any niche you want to.  There are life skill based stories in ALL niches.  Again here you are the story teller.

  1. Emotion Based – With emotion based method you are focusing on an emotion for a common denominator.  I see youtube channels where all they talk about is scary stories.  The stories are all over the place the only thing they have in common is that they are scary.

Same thing with the lifetime channel.  Everytime I turn around they are playing those damn sad bastard movies.

It’s like if you want to watch a movie on the Lifetime Network…you better get ready because whatever it’s about, whether a factory worker or a mountain climber…there is going to be some major depressing stuff in that movie.
The beauty of this is that you can flow through ALL the niches as long as you maintain that common denominator of “upbeat” or “happy” stories.

With all 5 of these models you can basically just pick and choose products from whatever niche you want to promote from whenever you feel like it.

So you know where you find all those crazy products and make great commission rates?

Forget about Amazon.
I’m talking about real commissions… like above 50%
I’m talking about Clickbank.
If you had some high quality reviews that were already done for you on some clickbank products and all you had to do was just plug in your affiliate link….

…that would be extremely helpful if you were applying one of the methods I showed you above.

How?  Imagine this for a second:

Let’s say you did a blog post called “10 of the Weirdest woodworking projects ever made.”

Now right after those 10 weird wood working projects you say, “If you enjoyed this list of Crazy woodworking projects and woodworking looks cool to you check out my review below on Tom’s Woodworking Guide.” To get started…

Then you just cut and paste the review.

Alright with me so far?

So where do you get these DFY reviews that have been done on quality clickbank products?

You get them from Arun.  Best in the business.

Go crush it.  Talk about whatever you want.  Do it your way.

That’s all I got.  I’ll see you in the next one.

10 reasons you should never launch another IM product again!

As January 2017 is fast upon us, I have decided to launch my new product, Enter the Foundation, as an exclusive for the Epic Conversions Insiders Club.  In other words it’s only going to be available inside the membership area of the EC Insiders.

Why am I doing this?

Well have you ever gotten really angry about something and then just wrote an email to somebody you hated…but you didn’t send it?  Instead you gave yourself 24 hours..you know…24 hour rule, then you deleted it and went about your merry way.

Everything is cool.

Well…this blog post is like that letter…

Here are 10 reasons you should never launch another IM product again:

3 Reasons You Suck at CPA Marketing and How You Can Fix Them!

You suck!  Yes, I said it.  And if you are reading this article…

…it means you are not getting the results you want out of your CPA campaigns.  But, you know what?  The good news is, it doesn’t have to be that way.

Don’t get me wrong.  There is no silver bullet, no secret potion, no secret trick that no one else knows about the will take you from losing money in CPA to making $100’s or $1000’s of dollars a day.  In truth, probably the single greatest obstacle people face in success in CPA is the idea that there is such a thing as push button riches, where little to no work is required.  However, if you will do the work, and follow some simple rules, you can dramatically increase your odds of success.

So if there is a set of simple rules that can help someone create campaigns that make money, why isn’t everyone doing it?   That’s a great question.  One which can be explained as we go.

Please note, paid traffic and organic traffic campaigns are conducted and scaled differently, and the focus of this article is paid traffic campaigns.

So the 3 reasons you suck at CPA marketing are:

  • You are direct linking your campaigns, rather than using a bridge page between your traffic source and the offer (although there is a caveat to this)
  • You’re not using (or using correctly) a tracking platform
  • You’re not properly structuring your ads and campaigns

1. Direct Linking/ No Bridge Page Between the Traffic Source and the Offer

Although there is a place for direct linking in CPA marketing, it should be limited in scope for several reasons.

First, if you are direct linking most types of offers, you will restrict yourself from the most abundant and highest quality traffic sources.  Google Adwords and Facebook are the two largest traffic platforms on the planet and they have a lot of high quality traffic to offer.  However, in almost every case they will not approve direct link campaigns to CPA offers.  Continue reading

Burning the Candle at Both Ends…

It’s been a pretty rough week for yours truly.  I’ve been knee deep in launch preparations for the last several days.  Late nights and all…

But that is what I wanted to talk to you about.
What has me up all night and losing sleep?

I’ve been getting something very, very special ready for you.

You see, it’s well understood that content marketing is the cheapest way to market on the planet right now.  Also, it’s the most sustainable, brand building, foundation strengthening way to market as well.

So if we all know that stuff then why aren’t there more people putting out amazing content and getting tons of results with said content?

Easy.

Is that Gasoline I smell?

…says Eric Draven right before he proceeds to blow up the local pawn shop along with the shady owner.

It’s a violent scene.  An intense scene.  It says something.  It says revenge is coming.  It says none of you will escape me.

A whole jolly club with jolly pirate nicknames!

Eric Draven

That’s what the black hat forum scene reminds me of.

I’m not going to name any one place in particular because I don’t want to increase their legend or give them more power than they deserve.   SO who are they?

For those of you that don’t know, there is a certain element of the IM scene that will get a hold of your hard work, the thing you put your livelihood on.  The thing you stayed up all those nights trying to build…they will get a hold of your products and they will let it rip…

The black hat forums are where they go to share it.  Share it with the poor hopeless fools at the bottom who haven’t figured out that they have to take chances and spend money to make things happen.  Share it with the IM Purgatory bound information junkies who “just want to know what’s in the box.”

I’m not mad at the people they are sharing the information with.  After all…they are handicapped by mental blocks that they haven’t overcome yet.  I get that.  I’m not mad at them.  I do feel sorry for them, but I’m not mad.

The jolly pirates on the other hand…well…

“Vengeance is mine said the Lord…”

But those Jolly blackhat pirates test me.

Let’s take a closer look at them, I find they come in 3 flavors:

The Adolescent Narcissist

This guy is like 13 years old and he can’t make friends at school so he has figured out how to be good at stealing IM products. He fancies himself a “hacker” and takes joy in fools on the “blackhat forums” thanking him and up voting his “rep” points.

He doesn’t understand the damage he is doing to the vendor because he doesn’t know what it is to support a family.  He doesn’t get having his back against a wall to pay a mortgage or make sure your kids get Christmas.  He’s just a stupid fucking kid who’s parents probably use the computer as a babysitter.

Good luck with that.

Honestly, he is the least dangerous.  On some level I feel bad for him.  He’s learning the game all wrong.  He’s got a lot of work to do to figure it out.

The Joy Rider

Similar to the Adolescent Narcissist this guy wanted to see what was in the box. No intention of ever using the product, he got himself a review copy and now he wants to get those extra props for sharing because he figures…all the other monkeys want to see what’s in the box too!  He’s encouraged by the comments and the “rep” points too.

He’s thinks he’s a hunter.  Looking for the next “cool” product to get a review copy of.  You’re only as good as your last share right?

Shame on this guy.  He’s a grown man.  He’s a fool but still…a grown man.  That being said though…you have to feel pity for the guy.  He’s going nowhere fast.  It’s just a hobby.

He should know he’s wrecking people.  He should know he’s taking food out of the mouths of the vendors kids.  He should but he doesn’t.  He’s a fool.  I’d like to punch him in the face if I was being honest with you.  Just to wake him up, ya know?

The Jason Bourne

The Bourne is the worst of all the Pirates.

Named after a fictional CIA agent who was a sleeper assassin, The Bourne is a shark.

The Bourne knows the game.  He probably knows it better than the poor fool he’s ripping off.  He might even be a JV partner or a fellow trusted affiliate.  He has an agenda.

Sabotage.

The Bourne wants to wreck your launch.  He doesn’t care about the “rep” or the influence in the blackhat forum.  He wants…to wreck… your launch.

Maybe he is launching on the same day and he wants to eliminate competition.

Maybe he just wants to “destroy something beautiful.”

Maybe he just wants to “watch the world burn.”

But don’t kid yourself.  It’s not random.  The Bourne believes that there are no rules in love and war and he fancies himself a real live Sun Tzu true blue warrior.

He’s not.  He’s a fucking snake.

Real warriors live by a code.  They don’t sneak around in the shadows sabotaging their “friends” launches.

I have no love for the Bourne.  They are sneaking around out there right now, leaking your products 2 days before you launch.  They think you don’t know.  But now you know.

I write this article tonight because I want the Bournes to know that I know.

I see you.

I have no sympathy for the Bournes.  I think like most snakes, they deserve to have their heads beneath a boot.

“Vengeance is mine, said the Lord…”

Wrapping Up...

So those are the 3 types I found.  The Adolescent Narcissist, The Joy Rider, and the Jason Bourne.  2 of them might one day have a future…the 3rd needs to find life elsewhere.

As for me…

I am becoming a force to be reckoned with and I’m not going to stop.  There’s a new way to do things now.

An honest way where we lift each other up.  I really help my customers.  I turn them into my peers and I help them win.  Does that threaten you?

I want you to know I see you.

I am aware of your sabotage.  You won’t stop me.

I’ll be seeing you around.  Giving you review copies.  All the while knowing the truth.

Kam
